Application fee of Rs. 1,000/- is non-refundable under any circumstances.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR M.PHIL./PH.D. A candidate is eligible for Admission for the M.Phil./Ph.D. programme provided he/she has qualified : 

1. For M.Phil.: (a) Master’s Degree of any recognized University/other qualifications recognized as equivalent thereto in such fields of study as are notified for the purpose from time to time by the University. The minimum eligibility criteria is 55% marks at Post Graduation level [50% in case of reserved categories {SC, ST, OBC (NonCreamy) and PWD}], and (b) For detailed discipline specific eligibility criteria, please see Appendix RU – I 

2. For Ph.D.: (a) Master’s Degree and/or M.Phil. in the relevant discipline along with the qualifications mentioned in point 1(a) above. (b) For detailed discipline specific eligibility criteria, please see Appendix RU – I
